Go Native Films utilize’s the latest, digital- media technologies to develop a broad range of content with a primary focus on Native American themes. GoNative Films projects in development will range from low-cost, yet high-quality ethnographic and cultural preservation projects, paid for by the tribes they benefit, to higher budget documentary and narrative feature films for distribution in consumer mass markets.

Preservation of Culture & Language

A major goal of the Go Native is to preserve the culture and language of Native American tribes –either by direct documentation and storytelling using Go Native Films resources and personnel, or by training and equipping tribes to use media to preserve their own cultures and languages.

Zaca Lake The Movie

 This entertaining screenplay presents compelling characters and suspenseful, unpredictable story twists and turns. The ghostly, chilling content of Zaca Lake is designed to appeal to the broadest possible demographic market to earn the greatest possible return-on- investment. On request, the screenplay, Zaca Lake, is available for Investor review. 

 

Story Logline: A fearsome presence with supernatural strength rises out of sacred Zaca Lake to seize a young girl and fiercely battle a courageous Native American Chumash man who is willing to die protecting her. 

Barbareno

 

Barbareno is based on the true story of the legendary 400 year long ght for resistance from violent colonial and frontier persecution of the Native Americans of Mikiw Village, near present day Santa Barbara. Their epic struggle to preserve their culture and way of life against genocide culminates in the largest indigenous uprising of the West Coastal Colonial era, the 1824 Chumash Revolt.

set out to create a unique adventure game produced from a Native American

perspective. EarthWalk: Return to Turtle Island is a game that will be fun to play,

intriguing, educational, stimulating and dazzling to the eye and ear. Aleqwel's

goal is to create a precedent-setting knowledge adventure which sets

new standards for electronic games that educate, entertain and inspire.

 

EarthWalk is a warrior’s quest that involves ancient Native American legends in

a modern day setting. EarthWalk introduces the player to essential Native

American beliefs, archetypes, stories and philosophies that demonstrate the

inherent spirituality in all things on Mother Earth. Through experiencing the

journey of becoming a warrior and protector of Mother Earth, EarthWalk

implores that the player master knowledge before power and seek

understanding and wisdom.

 

Aleqwel Thomas Mendoza, creator and producer of EarthWalk, has formed an all

Native organization, the Indigenous Media Lab (IML). IML has teamed up with

Aleqwel to develop tomorrows best selling knowledge adventure franchise. The

mission of the Indigenous Media Lab is to ensure the integrity and accuracy of

each tribes archetypes and legends in EarthWalk. IML will be forming a strong

development team of a select group of Native American writers, artists,

environmental advisors, and multimedia technicians from Indian Country.
